Shannon Hill and Patrick Poole
Shannon and Patrick are classically trained actors, combatants, dialect coaches, and directors who received their MFAs from the University of Houston.
Patrick spent two years touring with American Shakespeare Center and performed with theatres such as Houston Shakespeare Festival, Cape Fear Regional Theatre, Hope Repertory Theatre, Farmers Alley Theatre, and many others across the country. He has also taught classes from kindergarten to the collegiate level in theatre, Shakespeare, Greeks, stage combat, improv, and movement. Along with his career in theatre, Patrick has also worked as a voiceover artist for anime, voicing characters for shows on Netflix, Toonami, Crunchyroll, and direct-to-video releases. His favorite classical roles are Antony in Julius Caesar, Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing, Fluellen in Henry V, Robin the Clown in Doctor Faustus, and Laertes in Hamlet.
Shannon has performed with theatres such as Houston Shakespeare Festival, Festival 56, Palo Duro Shakespeare, Polarity Ensemble Theatre, and Farmers Alley Theatre. She also served as the Artistic Director for Festival 56 and the Associate Artistic Director for the Philadelphia Women’s Theatre Festival. Her favorite Shakesepeare roles to date include: Rosalind in As You Like It, Lady M in Macbeth, and Hamlet. Her favorite Shakespeare directing credits include: The Comedy of Errors, Hamlet, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Her favorite Shakespeare play is The Winter’s Tale.
They are also married and have two children: Rosalind and Sebastian.
