Shakespeare in Kalamazoo brings together a community of artists, educators, patrons, students, scholars, and donors to explore Shakespeare’s legacy through the appreciation, performance, and study of his works, their inspirations, and their influence.

Born from a passion for words and great theatre, SIK strives to make Shakespeare and other classical plays fun, accessible, and exciting for our patrons. We work to create equitable experiences that encourage empathy, build community, inspire artists, and spark joy.
